Faidon Miliadis

Faidon started his violin studies at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki with teachers Kostas Vozikis and Irina Dragneva. In 2005, he moved to London for bachelor studies at the Royal College of Music with professor Adrian Levine. Next stop was the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, acquiring a master of arts degree in Kati Sebestyén’s class. He attended chamber music as well as solo masterclasses with Zakhar Bron, Rudolf Koelman, Georgios Demertzis and Levon Chilingirian among others and has performed concerts and recitals in venues and festivals all over Europe (Bozar, Southbank Center, Gent opera studio, etc.). Meanwhile, he has been a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. Since 2014, Faidon resides in Athens where he regularly collaborates with artists and ensembles in a wide range of concepts, from early music concerts to avant-garde staged performances. He has been a co-principal violin at the National Opera of Greece and since 2017, a member of Athens State Orchestra. He is a founding member of trio elGreco.
