George Mathioulakis

George Mathioulakis was born in Chania, Crete, in 1981. He began violin lessons at the age of 9 with professor Iphigenia Tziannoudaki and afterwards with professor John Lambos. Since 2004, he has been a student of George Demertzis. He has appeared in concerts in Crete and Athens. In 2004 he participated in the chamber orchestra ‘Sinfonietta’ of Chania where he remained throughout the course, with tours in Crete and a concert in “Megaron” Athens Concert Hall. Since 2010 he appears with pianist Bela Lionaki and cellist Maria Sarafova, performing works for piano trio.
