Seraina Seidou

Seraina Seidou, was born in Volos, where she first came in touch with music, when she started piano lessons. She became involved with the double bass during her studies in the School of Music Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She studied along with Vasilis Papavasileiou in the Greek Conservatory of Athens (Diploma) and with Michael B. Wolf in the Universität der Kunst Berlin (Konzert Examen). She has been a member of the Athens State Orchestra since 2001. She has worked for the Municipality of Athens Orchestra, for the Greek National Opera, of Camerata –the friends of Music Orchestra and has cooperated with the Greek Composers Union for many years.
