Vassilis Charalambidis is an oboist originally from Drama. Born in the year 2002, he felt his attraction to music from an early age and began conservatory studies along with oboe lessons under Panagiotis Kougioumtzoglou, declaring a particular fondness for orchestral music. In 2020, he began his studies at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and continues his oboe studies with Dimitris Vamvas. While studying at the music department of Athens University, his love for the instrumental repertoire has led him to collaborate with ensembles such as the chamber orchestra 'Filii Notas', the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra (ASON), the chamber orchestra of the Athens University Music Department under the direction of Zoi Zeniodis and his recent inclusion in Camerata Junior. His activity also includes the pan-European event 'CIVIS Orchestra Academy' in which he participated in 2022 in Marseille and in 2023 in Madrid. He approaches music with great enthusiasm, pursuing his development as an artist, performer and creator.
